Volunteer with COVAC

First and most importantly:

Everyone joining COVAC in our work on the COVID-19 vaccine initiative must be passionate about helping their community.

They must be ready to join a fast-paced team, which combines a supportive community of volunteers and paid staff, all united in the goal of making the vaccine more equitably accessible as possible.

HIPPA Training

Everyone who works or volunteers with COVAC must be HIPPA certified, and must commit to any organizational data policies or procedures.

Vaccination against COVID-19:

COVAC requires that everyone who volunteers with us is vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they have a medical reason not to be vaccinated.

We may require proof of vaccination when you sign up as a volunteer with our organization.

Who is COVAC?

Who is COVAC?

Since the beginning of 2021 COVAC has been united under a single purpose: aiding and supporting the equitable distribution of COVID-19 vaccines. COVAC is a minority-founded, female-led vaccine equity non-profit primarily in Bastrop County, Texas.

Additionally, we use a wide range of source data to perform identification, targeting, and outreach to un-vaccinated and vaccine-hesitant individuals in communities with significant viral prevalence. We work to unite local vaccine-providers, community organizers, and other vaccine-focused organizations with the community.
