Who should fill out the vaccine waiting list application?
Anyone over 18 that is interested in receiving the vaccine can complete the application to be to be added to the vaccine waiting list. Please keep in mind that vaccine supply is currently limited to those qualifying for phase 1a or phase 1b allocation.
How will I be contacted for my vaccination?
You will be contacted through email to schedule for a vaccination. If you did not give an email address when you signed up for the waiting list, a scheduler will contact you by phone.
Can my spouse schedule their vaccination for the same time as mine?
Only if each of you received an email invitation and choose the same time to arrive at the clinic. Multiple appointments for the same clinic cannot be made using a single email address.

Is a prescription required for the vaccination?
No doctor's prescription or proof of medical condition is required
Do I have to receive both doses?
Receiving both doses is critical for full protection, when you receive your first dose, you will be given information on returning for your second dose. Your immune system will respond and you will have full protection usually 1-2 weeks after your second dose.
What should I do after receiving the first shot?
You will have to wait about 15-30 minutes after your vaccine to be monitored for any adverse reactions.

Is this a drive up vaccination clinic?
No. This is a walk-through vaccination clinic. Masks and social distancing are enforced.
Can I give my vaccine appointment to someone else?
The invitation to register for an appointment is for the person who signed up and received the email invite.
Can I attend the vaccination clinic if I have an active case of COVID-19?
No. Anyone with an active case of COVID-19 must be cleared by their doctor before attending a vaccine clinic.
Can I verify if I am on the waiting list?
At this time we cannot perform verifications. If you signed up for the waiting list on covac.info, then you are on the list.
Why are we accepting people who are not residents of Bastrop?
Bastrop County is now a vaccine HUB and there are no residency restrictions. This means we accept people from anywhere.
Can I bring someone with me to wait at the vaccination center?
If you require physical assistance, one person may accompany you inside the clinic. Otherwise, only the person receiving the vaccination may enter the clinic.
